Hello Lovely People!
I'm afraid that I have some sad news.
Actually, who am I kidding? It's not really sad.
I'm stopping Alphabet soup. It's just too limiting. I have days when I'm like, "Oh! I really want to write about this!" And then I go to write and realize, "Crap, I can't because it doesn't start with the letter I'm on." So good bye alphabet soup. It was nice knowing you but you were just too demanding. I will leave you and your letterness to some other person.
But I'm not really that sad because now I can write about whatever the heck I want! And that's a nice feeling.
And I'm happy right now because I did pretty well at my voice recital today. I sang "I See the Light" from Tangled, which is a great song, but I'm just not in a lovely dovey place right now. So I may have been slightly freaking out about how on earth I was going to be able to pretend to sing to a guy and not want to, I dunno, strangle him.
But I did it! :D *Happy dance*
My singing teacher even came up afterwards and told me that she cried and thought my performance was one of the most emotionally moving ones of the day.
I swear I cried tears of relief on the car ride home. That or it was the nervous sweat that was running down my forehead.
Either way, I'm happy that's over and I did pretty well and now tomorrow, I'm going to start singing one of my own songs with my singing teacher!
Hope you amazing people have a great week and good luck to those finishing up final projects and starting exams! I'll talk to you all soon!
I think that there should be a unique sign off for the internet, because "talk to you soon" doesn't work. You're not actually talking. "Blog to you soon"? "Write you soon"? "Communicate through the written language soon"? I dunno, something. :P

June
Hello All!
I could do the whole, "I'm sorry I haven't blogged recently" but I don't really think anyone really wants to read that. You live a life, you know things get busy at times.
So! How is everyone doing? How is everyone's start of June? Mine has been hectic to be totally honest. I have all of my end of semester projects due in the next week and then exams two weeks after that and then a voice recital on Sunday and then work etcetera, etcetera.
I dunno, it seems like every June is like this: so close to summer and freedom and sleep and fun, yet so far. These next three weeks are some of the longest in the whole year.
Why does one of the months with the nicest weather have to be the craziest and slowest? That sounds like a bit of an oxymoron.... :P It is though! I have so much stuff going on, yet every day feels like a week. It's messed up.
But, but, but. T'is not all bad. The weather is lovely. I was at Wonderland yesterday. For those of you who have no idea what Wonderland is, it's a big, big amusement (amusement? is that what the right word is there? I feel like it is...) park and it's amazing. I went with a group of about ten friends and it was a lot of fun. It rained for part of the day which shut down some rides, but it also cleared out most of the park which meant there were almost no line ups! I didn't get burnt, which is a miracle for me. I swear, I am part snowman. And I ended up buying a season's pass so I can go back again and not have to pay a bazillion every time I go!
Although, in our group, we have two... evolving couples? And they're in that stage where neither of them really know that they like each other but they're so lovey dovey all the time that you wonder just how stupid they really are. They frustrate me to bits. I mean, I get you like each other. I get you think that you've found your soul mate at fifteen, but please! Must we do the whole Buttercup and Wesley, Jack and Rose, Noah and Allie thing?
Anyways. I hope you've enjoyed my random ramble about the month of June. I hope you're all having a wonderful week and sleeping well and eating your greens and having fun etcetera etcetera.
Ta ta for now!
Song of the Day
I love this song and I love this video and it's just so amazing. I love the sound, I love the storyline, I love Daughtry. It's just a lot of love going on here. Go ahead and give it a watch! :)

I Don't Even Know
Hello My Pretties!
Wow, that started off much creepier than intended...
Anyways! I will admit that I was fairly stumped for what to do for the letter 'i'. I mean, there's not many topics to write about that begin with 'i'. Ice cream doesn't sound really nice because I am currently freezing and sitting in a giant, over-sized sweatshirt. I could have written about idiots but I'm not really in a critical, pissed off mood. Iguanas are just something I don't have a lot of knowledge about.
But I finally came up with a topic. I'm going to write about my ignorance.
We all look at society sometimes and go, "Wait, what?" Things just don't make sense to us. We have no knowledge or information about why certain things are the way they are. So I'm going to talk about some things that just don't make sense to me in today's modern culture. Maybe you can explain them to me? Cause I'm totally lost on these things.
1) The hierarchy of music. Since when were different types of music considered more valuable than others? I'm preeeettttyy sure the reason we listen to music is for our own enjoyment, correct? By definition, music is "vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion." And if I find one type of music beautiful, and you find other music beautiful, who are we to criticize each other's music? I mean, some music may require more skill than others, or it may be more complex, but does that make it more valuable? I don't think so.
2) The whole flirting thing. Just to be perfectly frank, I don't get it. I mean, I will literally just talk to a guy and someone will come up and say, "Ohhh, you were flirting with him." Or vice versa.
Wait, what?
I don't get it!! Can someone please tell me what the heck I am doing or what the heck they're doing? Cause I don't understand what on earth you are referring to.
3) Why we can't be okay with people having different opinions than us. Just look at a youtube video. Or a tumblr post. Or any social media. You will immediately understand what I am referring to.
4) Why it's 'uncool' to enjoy our family. I actually really like spending time with my family. Sure my younger siblings get annoying sometimes, sure my parents get in my face about stuff, but I genuinely like them. Why are we weird if we're friends with the people we spend most of our lives with?
5) Why anxiety and depression have become cool. I mean, the whole, "Stressed, depressed but well dressed" is just pure idiocy. Trust me, it's not fun to be stressed or depressed. Just don't, don't do this.
6) Our obsessions with celebrities. You are going crazy over someone you don't know, probably will never meet and everybody's okay with this? I get appreciating someone with talent or good looks or even being a fan. But stalking their every move and going to extreme levels to have anything to do with them. For example,
HARRY STYLES ILY SOOOO MUCH PLS FOLLOW ME??? <333333 1
HARRY STYLES ILY SOOOO MUCH PLS FOLLOW ME??? <333333 2

HARRY STYLES ILY SOOOO MUCH PLS FOLLOW ME??? <333333 6

Anyways, you get my drift.
If anyone would like to shed some light on any of theses topics, that would be much appreciated. Or maybe you have your own, "wait, what?" things. Lemme know!!
Until next time!
Song of the Day
I have my younger sister to thank for introducing me to this song. It's called "Shatter Me" and it's by Lindsey Stirling featuring Lzzy Hale. It's a super intense song that's a mix of modern beats and ballet and violin. It also has an awesome music video so give it a looksy!

Long Weekend Pictures!
Hello Lovelies!
This past weekend was a long weekend for me, woop woop! Does anyone else celebrate Victoria Day besides Canada? I feel like England might, but then again I might be totally wrong here.
In Canada, we usually celebrate Victoria Day with fireworks and barbecues and that sort of stuff, but this year, we skipped out on the festive traditions and headed up to my grandparent's farm instead.
It's not really a farm, it's more like 250 acres of conservation space. They have forests and meadows and ponds; it's absolutely beautiful and I spent all of Sunday walking around and taking pictures. It's such a joy having a camera that can do the place justice! I've done a lot of photography up there before but it was with one of those "early cameras for young children" where the screen is maybe three quarters of an inch across and there is no zoom.
Here are some of the pictures I took whilst on my mini Holiday! All photos are SOOC.
I hope you've enjoyed this post. I know I certainly enjoyed creating it! :)
On a totally different note, Lyn, are you still out there? I miss my Canadian blogger buddy!

And next year's words await another voice.
And to make an end is to make a beginning.

Sunset the first night over the field. |
I like the whole silhouetted look, especially at sunset. |

Grandy and Grandpa's photo wall. I love looking at all the old pictures of my family. It makes me happy. That's my Mum in the graduation picture. Isn't she purtyyyy?? :) |
I don't know what kind of tree this is but there were a bunch like this one with the peeling bark. |
Ontario represent! This is our national flower, the trillium! There you go, there's your fact for the day. |
I just love this path. The pines are lined up perfectly, and in the summer, when the branches have needles on them, it's amazing. I can picture Arwen walking down the trail. |
I just love the vibrant colours in this colour. Green is so lovely. |
This is probably my favourite picture out of the entire set. It must have taken me about five minutes to get this one to look right. |
So apparently, these are NOT Dandelions! They're something to do with feet or cotton or something. My Dad told me what they were and now I've gone and forgotten. |
This is the third pond. |
The barn that is now storage and an apartment complex to all the raccoons on the farm. |
My Mum and I have dubbed this tree "The Party Tree" because it reminded us of the tree in the Hobbit. |
I've always liked the way rusty barbed wire looks. |
Golden hour is definitely my favourite time to take pictures. Again with the whole rust thing. I dunno why, but rust is just so pretty! |
I'm really happy with the lighting on this one. And I love, love, love, love the spring, when everything is starting to grow. Reminds me of new beginnings. |
Another thing I love looking at is rotting wood or ruins of something. These fences are no longer really functional, but I think they look really nice. |
![]() |
My ten year old brother wanted me to let you all know that he got a bull's eye after practicing all weekend. |
This is the first pond and right behind the tree on the left is the house. |
These vines are so pretty. Does anyone else like the way the little curly cues on vines look or is it just me? |
The true farm look. |
Sunset on the last night. |
I hope you've enjoyed this post. I know I certainly enjoyed creating it! :)
On a totally different note, Lyn, are you still out there? I miss my Canadian blogger buddy!

Looking for a House in Neverland
I always thought when I got to this point in my life, I'd be happy.
University and College are on the horizon. I can finally get out and live my own life. There are so many opportunities that are starting to present themselves.
But to be honest, I'm kinda scared.
The majority of my friends are a year older than me; they're graduating this year and leaving. All of the sudden I'm not going to be able to just call them up, just hang out for an evening. Some of them are moving cities, provinces and even countries. All of the sudden, I feel so alone.
Because next year, there will be almost no one left. It's just going to be me in my little town with my family.
I feel like I'm on the brink of so many Goodbyes that I don't want to say. I mean, I'm happy for my friends, I really am. They get to go out and do what they've always wanted. I'm just sad that they have to leave.
And after I graduate, then what happens? When I leave, do I start over? Do I become a different person? What do I study?
All of these questions are terrifying me.
When I was younger, I used to dream about this time. I used to know exactly what I wanted and how I was going to get there. I guess I just never looked at the goodbyes and uncertainty.
We're all growing up so fast. Everything's moving so fast. People I've known since we ran around in diapers together, are becoming adults, going away to Universities and it feels like it's only been a few years.
I just want to hold on to what we have now. Can't we just pause life for a few years and enjoy it instead of rushing through it? Cause it seems that the older we get, the more complicated things are.
Can I just move to Neverland please?

The Favourites Tag
Hello People!
So here we are, a week later... oops. I honestly have no excuse other than school and life has been hectic and I've been exhausted.
I was planning to do a favourites of April post but then I realized, it's a third of the way through May and kinda late to do an April Favourites tag, and my favourites post would have consisted of "I See Fire" by Ed Sheeran and "Parade Rain" by Hedley. I didn't do a lot or buy almost anything in April.
But! I figured I could still do a favourites post, I would just do an all time favourites instead of a monthly favourites. And then I thought, "Why not get other people to do this too!? That way I can see what their favourite stuff is and get to know them a little better!" And then it became the favourites tag. Some of the categories are going to be random, you've been forewarned.
I seem to have a thing with randomly creating tags or challenges. If you've come up with a tag that I seem to have I thought I was the creator of, please let me know. I really don't mean to steal anyone's ideas. :)
All Time Favourites
Favourite Song: "September" by Daughtry. I think I've already posted this on one of my "Song of the Day" things but I'll put it here again. :)
Favourite Movie: Kay, I'm gonna cheat a little here cause I can't just pick one. I'm going to list my favourite movie from some genres.
Drama: Fame
Comedy: Old Dogs
Favourite Flavour of Ice Cream: Pumpkin Pie, but only a certain kind. Every summer, my family goes to a family camp up in Big Bay and there's this little, family run ice cream store there. They make the best pumpkin pie ice cream EVER!
Favourite Meat: Chicken. Make me anything to do with chicken and I will love you forever. Ooh! Or bacon. Bacon is delicious....
Now I want bacon...
Or chicken....
Favourite Meal: Either Chinese food or sushi. It really depends what mood I'm in.
Favourite Book: Eugh! I don't think I can pick just one. I'm sorry guys, I'm going to have to cheat again.
Mara, Daughter of the Nile by Eloise Jarvis McGraw
The Emily Series by L.M. Montgomery
The Book Theif by Markus Zusak
Favourite YouTuber: Definitely Joe Sugg. :)
Favourite Smell: Rain. Speaking of, there's this awesome site called Rainy Mood. It's basically a screen with rain falling on it and rain sounds playing.
Favourite Hobby: Songwriting/singing
Favourite Board Game: Settlers of Catan is my favourite board game. Pirate scrabble is my favourite game game, but I don't know if it counts as a board game.
Favourite Personality Trait: I had to think a really long time about this one. I think, and this may change, but right now it's stick-with-you-ness. It really means a lot to mean with someone will go through crap by my side and not leave. It's nice when people don't leave you when times get hard.
Favourite Emoji: The winky face one with the tongue out.
Favourite Fictional Character: This constantly changes but right now it's Emily from the Emily Series by L.M. Montgomery.
Favourite Place: My Grandparent's farm.
Favourite Cartoon Character: Tigger
Favourite Disney Villan: Yzma from Emperor's New Groove.
I hope you enjoyed this post and learned a little more about me. :) Go do the tag on your blog and comment below so I can go read it!! :D Feel free to add or remove categories. This was just off the top of my head.

Secretly, I'm Anna
Hello Pretties!
As much as I would love to be able to say that I am Elsa from Frozen, with her emotional angst about being a good girl, wanting to be free and being scared of things getting out of control, I think I may be a bit more of Anna. I mean, I definitely struggle with some of the stuff Elsa struggles with, but don't we all?
But some of my embarrassing moments are embarrassing enough, that they definitely put me in the "Anna" category. :P
So! I've decided to share with you some of my top Embarrassing moments. If you're having a bad day and feel like you're potentially the most awkward human being that ever lived, I'm about to prove you wrong. And if you're having a wonderful day, I hope these will make you chuckle.
1. I was playing a big game called Gorgon with a large group of people one evening. I was running and someone pushed me from the side. I tripped but kept running, trying to maintain my balance, kinda looking like a football player, with my head down. I wasn't looking where I was going and managed to headbutt a guy in the crotch.
2. I was on a recreational baseball team during the summer for a few years. One night I was unfortunate enough to have to be back catcher. I put on the padding and the helmet and went to stand behind home base. The helmet smelled awful. It smelled like walnuts, but sweaty walnuts... if you can imagine what sweaty walnuts smell like. The inning ended and I returned to the dugout. To my team, mainly made up of teenage guys, I proclaimed loudly in disgust, "The helmet smells like nuts!" My whole team burst out laughing. They spent the rest of the evening asking how I knew what nuts smelled like.
3. My little brother was questioning one of my guy friends about what instruments he could play, asking if he sang opera. My friend replied, "Yeah, in the shower." For some reason, the "in the shower" part didn't register in my head and I snorted, saying "I would pay money to see that.", thinking of him singing opera. Cue awkward moment where he's looking at me awkwardly and I'm confused as to why everything got awkward. Then everything sunk in and I spent the next five minutes trying to explain that I didn't want to see him in the shower.
4. My uncle owns a skateboard shop, but in his skateboard shop, he has a mini... skate park thing? It has two hills, next to each other. I dunno what you call them, I'm not a skateboarding person. I decided to try and see if I could go down one of the hills. I chose a skateboard from the wall, lined it up and began to go down it. Everything went fine until I began to go back up the other side. My skateboard flew, I'm not exaggerating, out from under my feet, across the room and hit the other wall. As previously stated, I'm not a skateboarding person.
5. A few months ago, I went to go see Frozen with a group of my cousins. It came to the part where Hans has to kiss Anna. The whole theatre is silent, on the edge of their seats. Hans leans in and then says "Oh Anna, if only there was someone who loved you!" I don't know why I found it so surprising, but for some reason, I was completely taken off guard and my cousin and I gasped so loudly that the people around turned to look at us, glaring and shhing us. *Ducks head and hides in shame.*
I hope these have brightened your day and made you feel a little better. We all have incredibly awkward moments, it's just about moving on and learning to laugh at them. Do you have any incredibly embarrassing moments?

Just remember this. :)

6. My friend and I went over to one of guy friend's houses for dinner with his parents. We arrive, walk into the dining room and all sit down. Of course, with my luck, I manage to sit on a lightbulb. Yes, you read that correctly, a lightbulb. There was a little lightbulb on my chair. It broke, they realized what had happened and began to apologize profusely and ask if I was all right. But the night doesn't end there. Afterwards, we all went to get ice cream and I managed to drip it allll down my shirt. My guy friend's mum was like, "Oh! We can get the stains out for you!" I didn't realize she meant she was going to take my shirt and wash it. So I spent the rest of the evening in my friend's oversized, plaid, dress shirt.
I hope these have brightened your day and made you feel a little better. We all have incredibly awkward moments, it's just about moving on and learning to laugh at them. Do you have any incredibly embarrassing moments?

Time And Relative Dimensions in Blogging
Hello Lovelies!!
I'm sorry I haven't been present in the blogosphere over the past weekish. I had what I thought was a cold and it wasn't going away so we went to the doctor's and they told me it was bronchitis.
Lovely.
I've been given instructions to drink lots of tea with honey, which I don't really mind. Because tea is awesome.
Warning, this is going to be a very gif-tastic post. :)
Continuing with Alphabet Soup, we come to the letter "D". I feel like I'm about to start singing a song on Sesame Street, but fear not! I have something much cooler than that.

For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about and think I may have just had a seizure, that was the Doctor Who theme song!! I am a very, very dedicated Whovian. My mom was a Whovian before me so I come by it honestly.

All of the Doctors to date. |
Doctor Who is a British TV show that started in the 60s. It stars a man called "The Doctor". Except he's not actually a man. *Gasps!* He's a Time Lord! A Time Lord is an alien from Gallifrey who can travel anywhere in time and space.
Literally.

This is the TARDIS. |
He has this machine called the TARDIS, which stands for "Time And Relative Dimensions In Space", and he travels in it. He goes back and forth in time and he travels to all different types of planets. When he's about to die, he "regenerates," meaning he gets a new body, kinda cheating death.
He also travels with companions, who are people he meets on his travels. You meet all sorts of people. Funny people. Sassy people. Swagtastic people. Sad people. Annoying people. Kind people. People who aren't even people.

4. It can make you feel everything from excitement, to hate, to love, to sadness in about 10 minutes.
5. You can watch it with pretty much everyone, your Grandma, your little brother, those kids you babysit; it's fairly clean.
6. The fandom is awesome.
7. It will make you want to buy a bowtie, some converse and give you the strongest desire to bring bananas to parties.
8. The villans are epic. :)
