Music - The Final Frontier

Heyo Peoples!

I have set out on a quest (cue medieval trumpets), a musical quest.

For a while now, I've been wanting to find some new music. I have a few artists that I love, a few artists that I like and then a few artists who I just buy their occasional song. But my problem is, it's all the same type of music. It's mostly pop/rock.

A while back, I was reaallly into country. Lots of Shania Twain, Rascal Flatts, Joe Nichols, Uncle Kracker etc. etc.

So that's like all the music I have in my library and I have decided this is a problem. As my friend says, I need to "expand my musical horizons". I think I probably want to look at some more alternative rock, some indie rock, singer songwriter stuff and some folk music. I'm also looking for some older music... obviously I know bands like the Beatles, the Stones, Queen and Pink Floyd and artists like Elton John and Bob Dylan. People have told me to look at The Black Keys, Green Day, Arctic Monkeys, Ed Sheeran and Coldplay.

Some of my favorite artists are Hedley, Daughtry, Maroon 5 and I've recently really gotten into Christina Perri.

Any other bands or artists that you guys could recommend?

Help?

Quick note: If you guys have followed my on Bloglovin' could I ask you to follow me on my actual blog instead/as well? :) It just is nice for me to see on my actual followers section how many people there are, cause it doesn't add my bloglovin' followers to the followers for my blog.
It's really easy, under my Bucket list, Archive and About section, there's a little "Followers" section. Then you just click "Join This Site". You don't need to have a Blogger account, just some type of internet account. Tanks a mill guys! :)

Song of the Day

I've really been liking this song recently. It's upbeat and happy and very cute. I love the harmonies and the feel of the song. Kind of a... swingy feel? Maybe it has a technical term, but I'm not sure. :P
Anyways! Without further ado, here is "Be My Forever" by Christina Perri featuring Ed Sheeran.

  1. I don't really have any favourite artists. I just listen to whatever random song I like :) And that's such a good song!!

    2. I second Freya. Bastille are cool :) There's also this really cool Canadian indie rock band called Paper Lions whose music kind-of followed me around last summer! I'd recommend them :)
